New Tattoo est le 1er album studio de Mötley Crüe sans la star des batteurs, Tommy Lee, qui ici est remplacz par Randy Castillo. New Tatoo n’apporte rien à la discographie de Mötley Crüe. cependant New tatoo contients quelques bons titres comme "Treat me like a dog I am", "Dragstrip Superstar", "1st band on the moon", "Punched in the teeth by love", ou encore la ballade "Hollywood ending"... Mais rien du tonneau de ce que pouvait produire le groupe à l’époque de Dr Feelgood..
