Running Wild fait son trou dans le heavy metal teuton avec un second album très Priestien, aux limites du speed metal, Rock’n Rolf fait dans la sobriété avec son chant grave mais efficace. Du côté de la rythmique ce second opus oscille entre le speed balbutiant "Realms of Shades" ou "Marching to die", "Gods of Iron" et "Fight the Oppression". et le mid tempo heavy metal comme sur "Evil Spirit" et "Chains and Leather".

Running Wild se caractérise par ses riff structurés et stéréotypé et des reftains guerriers, simple mais efficaces .
