Plus grand groupe de l’histoire du Rock n’avait jamais eu d’album live digne de ce nom, pourtant LED ZEPPELIN était un monstre autant sur scène qu’en studio. Mais voilà qu’en 1997, Jimmy page nous ressort ses bandes radio datant des sessions enregistrées pour la BBC entre 1969 à 1971 ; Constituant un témoignage fantastique de LED ZEP en live : un son vintage, une interprétation parfaite, un talent rare pour dompter l’électricité de sa musique.

Les BBC sessions, nous font comprendre à quel pont lle Hard Rock du dirigeable doit tout au Blues, discipline que la bande à Page maîtrise avec une grande perfection, les improvisations à 4 temps son nombreuses et variées.

Les BBC sessions sont un double CD qui fait justice au talent du Zeppelin.
